What is Botox?
Botox is a treatment that involves injecting botulinum toxin into muscles to reduce the appearance of dynamic facial wrinkles and to improve conditions such as a wide jawline. By relaxing overactive muscle contractions, it smooths wrinkles and refines facial contours. It is approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (Japan) and the FDA (U.S.), and its safety and effectiveness are internationally recognized.

Botox Injection Recommended for concerns such as:
- Frown lines or forehead wrinkles
- Crow’s feet when smiling
- Clenching or prominent jawline that makes the face appear wider
- Gummy smile (excessive gum visibility when smiling)
- Excessive sweating (underarms, palms, etc.)
- Shoulder stiffness
- Slimming the calves

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When will I start to see the effects?
A: The effects usually begin to appear within 3 to 7 days and last for approximately 3 to 6 months.
Q: Are there any side effects?
A: Temporary redness, swelling, or bruising may occur at the injection site, but these typically subside within a few days. In rare cases, overcorrection may cause facial stiffness.
Q: Is it safe to receive repeated treatments?
A: Yes, it is safe. Repeating the treatment every 3 to 6 months can help maintain results and prevent the development of deeper wrinkles or facial bulk.
Q: What’s the difference between Korean-made Botox and other products?
A: While Korean-made Botox tends to be more affordable, it is not approved by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Reports have shown inconsistent results in terms of effectiveness and duration. In addition, products with higher levels of impurities may lead to antibody formation, increasing the risk of the treatment becoming ineffective over time.
At our clinic, we exclusively use Botox Vista® by Allergan, which is approved by both the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (Japan) and the FDA (USA), prioritizing safety and consistent effectiveness.
